The 62nd annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament was nothing short of exciting. The top three heaviest blue marlin winners were separated by only a pound with just .2 ounces separating first and second place. Pelagic Hunter II took home first place with a 495.2 lb fish, Sea Striker came in second with a 495 lb. fish, and Predator took third with a 494.2 lb fish. Pelagic Hunter II brought their fish to the scales with 35' Contender, the first outboard to win the tournament in over 30 years. Sea Striker weighed their fish on the last day of the tournament for a leader board shake up that would send them home with $1,056,138 check.
