Just below average

Action & power are a good bit more stiff that other brands' ratings, so if you usually use Medium, you probably want the medium-light on this rod. Also, the reel seat is affixed a tad further up the rod so you end up with a few less effective inches of rod than is typical. The epoxy on mine has bad bubbles in it in several spots. Might not matter but is indicative of poor quality control. All in all, I would not purchase another one of these. Plenty of better rods in this price-point. That said, if you have to have a white rod or if aesthetics is a deciding factor for you, then this one should definitely be on your list.
