Stellar 10' Surf Rod

First off the the guide windings, grips and finish is flawless. I haven"t had an opportunity to fish the rod but took it out to a local lake to cast a variety of lures 1-3 oz. After a few casts I was throwing a 2 1/4 oz. popper 80 yards and a heavier spoon slightly farther. I think with some more time casting this rod longer casts will result. I purchased this rod for a planned trip to Cabo for Rooster fish and Jack Crevelle in the surf.
