COMPETITOR COBO

Now have 4 of these units and have had 3 for 4 years. I use these combos for downrigger fishing in LAKE ERIE as well as use them for display rods - they work great ! The only thing they are missing, is counters for the reals but with the price of these combos you can afford to buy a couple of electronic line counters from SOUTH BEND and still be way ahead of the game !

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Competitor Spinning Combos. We're thrilled to hear that you have 4 of our units and have been using them for 4 years. It's great to know that they work well for both downrigger fishing in Lake Erie and as display rods. We appreciate your feedback about the missing counters and we'll definitely consider adding them in the future. In the meantime, we suggest checking out electronic line counters from South Bend for a perfect match. Thank you for choosing our product and happy fishing!

This pole cast great and is appealing to the eye. I thought at the price point, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try out a product in this line. On the first day of fishing while reeling in a fish on a creek the handle on the reel snapped, abruptly ending a good day of fishing. I didn't expect the pole to last a lifetime but I certainly hoped for more than an hour. You might want to consider other product lines before wasting money
