Dave Colt and Clay Robinson worked hard for years behind the scenes at other breweries, shaping their ideas for what brewing could be, before opening Sun King Brewery®. Their plan: bring together forward-looking flavor profiles while constantly experimenting with different styles and brewing methods to redefine craft brewing in Indiana. The result of their big ideas and hard work: national recognition on the award scene and a cult-like following of rabid fans.
Started in a garage in Florida, Star Rods now sets the standard for handcrafted rods that work harder on the water. Like Dave & Clay, our master rod builders experiment with different blanks, materials and components so that our high-performance rods are not just a lighter version of a bass rod, but a purpose-built tool for landing panfish and trout.
